Club Meetings

The Malpas Vintage Machinery Association was founded by a small group of vintage tractor and steam engine enthusiasts in 1971. As you may well imagine, the main event for our club is the annual Malpas Yesteryear Rally, but we also hold monthly club meetings too.

What…
The meetings include film shows and talks on a wide variety of subjects (see below), mainly concerned with the preservation movement, because we are of course a vintage machinery club. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t invite speakers to give talks on related and fascinating topics too.

When…
The second Thursday of the month, starting at 7.30pm prompt.

Where…
The Bickerton Poacher, Wrexham Road (A534), Bulkely, Malpas SY14 8BE,
which can be found about three miles towards Nantwich from the Broxton roundabout on the A41

Who…
We invite potential new members to come along and see what we are all about. Non-members interested in joining us, and of course the club, will be made very welcome, so please do just turn up.
Interested in becoming a member? – Please download a membership application form.

We have organised a full and varied calendar of speakers for the upcoming monthly club meeting.

So, for our existing and new members who have made contact through this site, we’re sure that these will be a good and interesting range for our monthly meetings. You’ll see that there is, we hope, pretty much something for everyone in the programme below.
