Industrial Steam Engines

Chris developed an interest in steam engines during his school days in the 1970s, joining the Northern Mill Engine Society in 1976. He has spent a lot of time since then touring Britain and many parts of the world, looking at and photographing large, commercial steam engines. These range from the engine under the Houses of Parliament (who knew that), to paddle steamers.
