Last Saturday, we mentioned the possibility of something happening next Saturday, the first day of the rally.
Those who were with us last year will remember the flypast of the Avro Anson – we’ve got it again this year!
Because of other commitments, it will only be doing a fly-by on Saturday, around 15.30.
So, quite a display if all goes to plan… Anson on Saturday, and Lancaster on Sunday, both around 15.30 – take your pick, or come on both days!!
As always though, these aircraft are old and irreplaceable. So their appearance cannot be guaranteed. The weather looks good for both days, but this year, nothing is certain. And of course, there is always the possibility of mechanical problems. So fingers crossed again.
